About Coach Alex:

Alex first set foot on a rugby field his freshman year of high school and never looked back. After four years of play, he went on to join the Middlebury College Rugby Club (VT), where he helped lead the team to two Division II National Championships.

Following graduation, Alex landed in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where he quickly became involved with the local club team, the Moose. During his time there, he served as club president and traveled extensively across the West with the squad aboard the team bus, the “Moose Caboose.”

Over the course of his playing career, Alex has competed throughout the United States as well as in England, Canada, and Argentina. He draws lasting inspiration from the global rugby community and the connections it fosters.



Since relocating to Salt Lake City, Alex has stepped back from competitive play and is excited to join the University of Utah Women’s Rugby program, where he looks forward to sharing his experience and passion for the game with the next generation of ruggers.
